چکیده

High consumption of trans-fatty acids (TFAs) linked with obesity, disorders lipoproteins, type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM), risk factors coronary heart disease, and development atherosclerosis. The intent our trials was to assess the possible bad impact TFAs on lipid status focusing characterizing physiological alters in an animal model comparing cis fatty acids. Sixty male albino rats, nearly similar average weight 170±5wereassignedinto 4 main groups (15 rats per group) kept a standard diet set for 12 weeks. All received different treatment successive Group A: control group conventional diet, B contained 360 gm inform partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (PHVO) l kg C fed Fat Diet (HFD) beef tallow for, D containing linseed diet. Both feeding HFD resulted marked increase body reach obesity grade significant (P≤0.05) leptin receptor gene expression. Also, Malondialdehyde (MDA) Lipoprotein-a (Lp-a) decrease total antioxidant capacity (TAC). It could be concluded that induce combined increased weight, imbalance oxidative stress, dyslipidemia, elevated atherogenic may leading atherosclerosis disease.

Expression of leptin and leptin receptor transcript in ovine corpus luteum

Background: Leptin, the product of the obesity (ob) gene, acts as a signaling adipokine for modulating food intake, energy metabolism and reproductive functions in mammals. Leptin’s effects on the reproductive system at various levels of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis have been established. Moreover, the direct and local effect of leptin on bovine oocyte maturation and corpus luteum fu...
